If I could recommend only one programming book for people working with teens, it would be Photojojo: Insanely Great Projects and DIY Ideas by Amit Gupta and Kelly Jensen. Based on their online photography newsletter, Photojojo is a collection of ingenious DIY projects that can be made from left over photos. Projects range from wall art, and Rubik's cubes, to wallets and "eyeglass frames" (amazing!). The greatest thing about this book is that is you could literally do an entire year's worth of cool teen projects using this book alone. With Photojojo there's no need to stress over your hunt for cool.
