Let’s face it, it's not easy being cool...or staying cool. As youth experts we’re expected to dance in time with youth trends, even though we might not always know how to move to the song that’s playing.
My own personal experiences as a youth consultant, has taught me a lot of universal things about youth culture, but when it comes to keeping myself up to date and relatable to my teens, I rely on a selection of blogs and sites I like to refer to as "the cool kids."

ReplyDeleteAs for keeping cool, I look to you. I know you're looking for more resources, but I honestly don't know how you could cram any more than you already do onto this site. It's jam-packed with helpfulness as it is. :)
Finally got a chance to look through these links. I've only gone through the first five sites but they all lead to a weird link. To use A Little Bit on the Awesome Side as an example it links to albotas.com/%E2%80%A8 instead of just albotas.com--which is a 404 page. Weird. If you just erase the percents it works, but its a bit of an extra step I'm not sure everyone else will go through.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for heads up. Hiccups removed.
